Academic Testing 2016-2017
Clarksville Christian School is proud to announce the results from assessment testing for the 2016-2017 school year, where CCS students excelled across all areas in every grade level. Third through tenth grade students were administered the ACT Aspire, while the Senior class took the ACT college entrance exam. Each grade level, from third through tenth, scored higher than the national average of their peers.
Much of the academic success of these students is due to their diligence in academics, which has resulted in high ACT scores and grade point averages. The CCS class of 2017 has an average ACT composite score of 23.3, far exceeding the Tennessee average of 19.9 and the national average of 20.8. Even more impressive, half of the students scored at or above a 25 composite on the ACT, and the class of 2017 was offered over 1.1 million dollars in scholarships and tuition discounts from several colleges and universities.
CCS is pleased to share data that is reflective of an increased academic rigor. These results are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our faculty, students, and parents. We are pleased to see the evidences of a faith-based educational environment where our students’ academic achievements continue to rival that of their peers nationwide. Our faculty and students have truly demonstrated academic excellence through Christian faith. Please pray that God will continue to bless CCS both spiritually and academically.
