Admissions Process:

The admissions process begins with the Application.

The application is reviewed for completeness.  A written request for records is sent to previously attended school(s) to request report cards, standardized testing results, attendance records, and disciplinary records.

A non-refundable registration fee is collected with the application.

NOTE: ALL special needs and/or IEP’s must be disclosed as part of the application. Failure to do so will result in academic stress for the student and dismissal from CCS.

Following receipt of all required paperwork, an Admissions Test is scheduled for students entering Kindergarten. Placement Tests may be given to students in first through twelfth grades as necessary.

All tests are administered by CCS faculty members.

The teacher administering the test makes a recommendation for admission on the application package and specifies which class the student will attend if accepted.

The principal reviews the application package in detail to determine eligibility to attend. Behavioral qualifications and any special needs requirements are emphasized during this review.

Parents and students may be called as part of the review when questions arise.

Final Determination on admission is made by the principal.

Parents are notified of acceptance or non-acceptance by the Admissions Director.
