Clarksville Christian School is proud to announce Christi Willis as the new Pre-K teacher for CCS. Ms. Christi has been the aide in PK for two years and is excited about moving into this new role within the same classroom.
Ms. Christi earned her B.A. in Bible and Elementary Education from Baptist College of Ministry and is currently pursuing her M.Ed. from Maranatha Baptist University. She is an active member of Cross and Crown Baptist Church.
When asked about her philosophy on Christian education, she replied: “Christian educators have been given the amazing responsibility to nurture the minds and hearts of their students. Academically, every child should be given the opportunity to learn in a way that best suits their style of learning as well as be trained in alternate methods of thinking and applying knowledge. Students should be given a full and effective learning experience that involves using their environment, past experiences, and interests to discover and create. Spiritually, students can make connections in their studies to principles in God’s Word that build their knowledge of who God is and the special purpose that he has for them. It is my goal as a Christian educator to ensure that my students receive the kind of education they deserve to be academically and spiritually successful in their future endeavors.”
