Clarksville Christian School is proud to welcome Robert Santiago to the CCS family as an Upper School English and social studies teacher. Mr. Santiago received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education with a major in History from Freed Hardeman University.
He has most recently been an active member of the Finger Church of Christ. He enjoys working with youth, as he has an undergraduate minor in Youth Ministry. He also enjoys traveling abroad and spent a semester studying in Belgium while at Freed Hardeman. He has also travelled to Holland, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Spain, England, Scotland, Italy, and Greece.
When asked to reflect on his philosophy about Christian education, he replied: “I look forward to being a Christian role model for young people for many years at CCS. There are so many mistakes throughout history that could have been avoided if leaders and citizens had prioritized God and his word. I am excited to discuss our world’s history from a Christian lens. My goal is for myself and my students to learn how to better serve God every day. I hope to use the problems of the past to teach how we can live our lives better for Him.”
