Hands-on Experience
Our program offers a wide range of hands on experience within agriculture as well as personal development opportunities. We work with every student to find their interests in Ag and tailor their experience to help them find their passion within Ag.
Leadership Development
Our institute gives students opportunities to grow into leaders both inside and out of the classroom. Students are able to talk with industry professionals, take on leadership roles through FFA, participate in volunteering and community outreach. By the time students graduate from our program they will not only be better consumers, but a leader within their community.
Career and Leadership Events
CDE (Career Development Events) and LDE (Leadership Development Events) in FFA are competitive activities that provide students hands-on experiences in agriculture. These events benefit students by fostering practical skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the agricultural industry, preparing them for successful careers and leadership roles.
Agritech
Introduction to Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources
This course covers sustainable agriculture, food production, and resource management. Students will learn about sustainable practices, soil health, pest management, irrigation techniques, and strategies to minimize environmental impact. By the end of the course, they will be able to make informed decisions about sustainable agriculture and contribute to shaping the future of food systems.
Natural Resources and Ecology
This course explores the interplay between living organisms and their surroundings. Students become familiar with ecosystems, conservation techniques, and sustainable natural resource management, emphasizing the significance of environmental responsibility in agriculture.
Principles of Animal Science
Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the biology, behavior, and management of livestock and poultry in this course. The curriculum encompasses a wide range of topics including animal nutrition, reproduction, genetics, and welfare, providing students with a comprehensive grasp of animal science principles.
Principles of Plant Science
