CCS Shines at State FFA Convention! 🌟

We’re excited to celebrate an incredible showing from our CCS Agriculture Program at last month’s State FFA Convention!

For the fifth year in a row, CCS FFA was named a Superior Chapter and recognized on stage. This honor reflects the dedication, leadership, and hard work of our entire program.

Our chapter also received the PLOW Award (Progressing Literacy Onward) for our Farm to Classroom initiative, where students engage elementary learners through hands-on agricultural education.

And we are ecstatic that our FFA President, Leah Rose, placed 3rd in the state in Agricultural Mechanics & Fabrication with her small business, Rose Builds! Leah designs and constructs farm-ready structures that support regenerative agriculture, and we applaud her innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

The future of agriculture is bright at CCS! 🌱

✨ Throwback Thursday to our Upper Elementary Fine Arts Night last month! What an incredible evening celebrating the creativity and dedication of our students.

Under the direction of Ms. Leah Richmond, the stage came alive with a fantastic performance that had the audience smiling from start to finish. Guests also enjoyed strolling through a gallery of impressive artwork created by Mrs. Tabitha Thompson’s talented students.

We’re so proud of the true stars of the show, our CCS kiddos, along with their dedicated teachers. And a special word of thanks to all of our parents, family members, and friends who came out to cheer them on! 🎭🎨👏

🎭 CCS Fine Arts Department is proud to present our Spring Musical: Murder at Crimson House! 🎶🔍

In this spoofy, musical murder mystery, Hercules Porridge Jr., daughter of the famous Hoboken detective (her father won the naming coin toss!), sets out to solve a case… or at least try her best!

At Crimson House, a seedy hotel where guests pay outrageous prices for less-than-stellar service, things aren’t quite what they seem. Beneath the surface lies a web of BLACKMAIL, and when murder enters the scene, the mystery deepens. A body appears in the sitting room, and a beautiful secretary meets her fate by deadly orchid juice!

Packed with eccentric characters, this lively production features a dramatic mystery writer, a bug-obsessed young man, a peculiar actress, a quirky colonel, and a hilariously directionally-challenged butler.

We are thrilled to showcase a talented cast of 6th-12th grade students, so come support them and enjoy an evening full of laughter, suspense, and song!

📅 Showtimes:
• April 17 at 7:00 PM
• April 18 at 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM
