Foundations in Faith
Clarksville Christian School’s Pre-K program serves children ages 3 and 4 in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. With a focus on early childhood development, the Pre-K program helps students grow spiritually, intellectually, socially and emotionally through play-based learning and Biblical integration. Our qualified, dedicated teachers prepare young learners with the foundational skills and confidence needed for future academic success and a life of faithful Christian living.
Standards
Clarksville Christian School’s Pre-K program is thoughtfully aligned with the CCS Kindergarten curriculum, giving students a strong, familiar foundation that prepares them for success — whether they continue at CCS or transition elsewhere. The program places a strong emphasis on phonemic awareness, fine motor development and dexterity skills such as using scissors and holding pencils. Students also grow spiritually by learning one Bible verse each month and joining the entire CCS student body for chapel every Friday.
Teachers
All teachers in the CCS Pre-K program are licensed, qualified teachers — some with backgrounds in early childhood education and others with experience in lower school classrooms. While many schools require just 12 hours of professional development annually, CCS holds its teachers to a higher standard, requiring 24 hours of training each year. We’re proud to go above and beyond, not only for our students but for their families as well. We partner closely with parents, offering prayerful support and creating a safe, respectful environment where each child is nurtured with intention — recognizing their individual needs and encouraging the development of their God-given talents.
