Clarksville Christian School is proudly offering the Christian Junior Reserve Officer Training Course (CJROTC) for the 2024-2025 school year. The mission of the CJROTC program is to build better individuals through spiritual, physical and mental resilience. The program has a mixture of classroom and hands-on activities to help develop life skills that students can use through adulthood, regardless of whether or not they pursue higher education, immediate entry into the workforce after high school, or service in the United States Military.

Academic Credits and Benefits

Students/Cadets participating in CJROTC have the opportunity to earn valuable academic credits, including High School Elective Credit, Social Science Credit, and potentially a PE Credit. Additionally, successful completion of the program can lead to college credits, providing a head start for those considering higher education.

Focus Areas

The CJROTC program is designed to focus on essential areas such as character building, leadership development, and mastering critical life skills. Through a structured curriculum and hands-on experiences, students/Cadets gain valuable insights into personal growth, ethical decision-making, teamwork, and communication.

Military Advancement Opportunities

Cadets who complete the CJROTC program may be entitled to initial rank advancement if they decide to enlist in the military, contingent upon the branch of service chosen. This opportunity not only recognizes their dedication and training but also provides a seamless transition into military life with potential benefits such as increased responsibilities and opportunities for career advancement.

Leadership Education

Develop essential leadership skills while receiving opportunities for academically high-achieving students to pursue honors-level coursework. Through a blend of core leadership education, advanced training, service learning, physical fitness, and mentorship, students will explore various aspects of leadership and personal development.
