☀️ What a day for the Class of 2027! 🎨

Yesterday morning, God gave us some perfect weather as our seniors took part in one of those traditions that makes the start of senior year so special...painting their parking spaces! 🖌️🚗

There was plenty of laughter, a little help from some parents, and a whole lot of joy all the way around. These are the moments that make memories, and we have a feeling the Class of 2027 is going to make a LOT of them this year! ❤️

A special thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Merrill, Ms. Tate, and Ms. Willis for joining the fun and chaperoning our seniors. We’re also giving a big shoutout to the CCS Competition BBQ Team for cooking up some seriously delicious food! 🔥🍖 These students clearly know their way around a grill!

Our Lower School started the year in style with a Back-to-School Roundup! 🤠 Teachers and students gathered for a special assembly full of fun, faith, and plenty of school spirit! From teachers racing in hilarious inflatable costumes to a meaningful time of worship, it was a great way to start the year together.

We also introduced our new school theme for the year: “Go the Extra Mile!” This year, we’re challenging our students and staff to go above and beyond and to go that Second MILE: Mission, Integrity, Love, and Excellence.

From lunch to library and everything in between, it was a great first full day all the way around at CCS! We can’t wait to see all that God has in store for our Lower School! ✨

☀️ Senior Sunrise. First Last Day. Class of 2027.

This morning, you gathered before the sun came up to celebrate the beginning of your final year at CCS.

Over breakfast, old friendships were strengthened, new ones were formed, songs were sung, prayers were lifted, and hearts were pointed toward what this year can become. You were challenged to embrace the privilege and responsibility of leadership. This year is about more than making memories…it`s about leaving a legacy.

Class of 2027, you are one of the most accomplished classes in CCS history. You are elite athletes, exceptional scholars, talented artists, and compassionate servant leaders. God has blessed each of you with unique gifts, and together you have helped shape this school in remarkable ways.

Now, it`s your turn to lead.

Our underclassmen, and especially our littlest Centurions, will be watching. They`ll learn from the way you compete, the way you worship, the way you serve, the way you encourage others, and the way you carry yourselves every day. All eyes are on you, and we know you`ll rise to the challenge.

We`re incredibly proud of you, and even more excited for what God has in store this year. Our prayer is that He blesses you, grows you, and uses you in ways you can`t yet imagine. We pray this is your best year yet!

Take it all in. Every game. Every performance. Every class. Every chapel. Every moment with your family. Every day with the school family God has brought together as the Class of 2027.

What an incredible first day of the 2026-27 school year!

Today was filled with excitement, big smiles, lots of hugs and laughter, a few tears (mostly happy ones! 😊), new friendships beginning, and old friends picking up right where they left off. The energy throughout our halls was contagious, and we couldn`t be more excited to kick off another amazing year together!

And can we give a huge shoutout to our awesome families who tackled first-day car line like champs? 👏 The first day is always our busiest, but y`all handled it with patience, smiles, and plenty of Centurion spirit. Thank you for giving us a little extra grace as we welcomed everyone back. It gets better every day!

What an incredible first day of the 2026-27 school year!

🎉HERE WE GO, 2026-2027! 🎉

This week, the journey officially began. We had the privilege of welcoming our newest faculty and staff members to the CCS family on Tuesday. Then yesterday, the rest of our incredible team returned to campus as we officially launched the new school year with our annual Kickoff & In-Service!

And what better way to start off a new year ahead than with a trip back to the 1990s? 😎 From bright neon colors and flannel shirts to overalls and a few hairstyles that were probably best left in the `90s 😆, our team fully embraced the theme! The air was filled with the sounds of our favorite `90s hits, plenty of laughter, and more than a little nostalgia as we took a fun trip back to one of the most unforgettable decades.

But while we had plenty of fun looking back, our focus was always on moving forward.

We sang together. We prayed together. We shared an incredible meal together (seriously... it was really good! 😋). We learned together through training and professional development sessions.

We reflected together on where God has brought Clarksville Christian School from our humble beginnings 19 years ago to the amazing story He continues to write today.

Then we looked ahead.

Ahead to another record-setting year.
Ahead to new opportunities.
Ahead to new students, new families, and new teammates.
Ahead to the incredible future God is preparing for Clarksville Christian School.

As we continue to grow in quantity, our greatest desire is to grow even more in quality. We want to be better educators, better teammates, better servants, and better leaders. We want to live out this year`s theme by continually choosing to go the Second MILE for one another, for our students and families, for our community, and above all, for the Lord.

We`re getting everything ready, and we absolutely cannot wait to welcome everyone back next week! We believe that God has incredible things in store and are looking forward to another amazing year at CCS. Let`s go, Centurions! ❤️
